Herbal Medicine, Cacao Bliss & Massage Workshop

Run by medical herbalist Sarah Murphy and Esalen massage & bodywork specialist Leonie Nanassy. This informative day long workshop will teach you to make potions and creams with everyday herbs from the garden and woods.You will learn to package your products, along with massage techniques so that you can apply your potions with some knowledge and skill. Delicious lunch, refreshments, and Cacao bliss session and more.
DAILY SCHEDULE
10.00 am;
Meet and greet. We’ll begin the day by serving freshly brewed botanical teas.
10.30 am;
Herbal Cream Manufacturing Workshop. This hands on session will give you all
the tools you need to make your own totally natural, luxurious creams from a range of plant
and botanical extracts. We will discuss commonly used herbs for skincare, their medicinal
properties, along with how to package your products, and learn massage techniques that will
enable you to apply them with skill.
12.45 pm;
Pre-lunch herbal tasting session. Sample a range of herbal tinctures and syrups
aimed at promoting optimum digestion.
1.00 pm;
Nutritional lunch served by the fireside or outside weather permitting, and an
opportunity to take a walk on the beach
2.15 pm;
Flower remedies and medicinal plant talk/walk(weather permitting) and
manufacturing/demonstration. During this session we’ll take a journey into the fascinating
world of energetic plant medicine and connect more deeply with the vibrational energy of
nature.
3: 30 – 5pm;
How to live a more natural life. A short talk/ intuitive session with Leonie. You
will be introduced to a range of therapeutic and inspirational resources aimed at helping you
to live a more natural life. Inc, Create your own cacao bliss, followed by a deeply relaxing
Yoga Nidra session with touch.

How much does the retreat cost?
The price for the day is £85 per person. However, should you wish to attend with a friend, the
cost of the day will be £150 for you both.
Lunch, refreshments and full-colour resources to accompany the course are all included in
this special price.
Unfortunately, our system makes it difficult for us to take deposits, so the full cost of the retreat must be paid at the time of booking.
Refunds are not available should you be unable to attend, however, every effort will be made
to ensure a place is reserved for you on the next available retreat.
